Category: Uncategorized - Posted on February 5th, 2010
The environment around us really does favor those bold enough to speak up and any person who is not so bold is steeped. If a person has any hope of living the way life was intended to be, they would have to stop being shy. The solution to the condition is definitely not complex, in fact by following some very simple suggestions, a person can easily overcome the obvious disadvantage, and some people are even known to take advantage out of even this disadvantage of theirs.
Being myself very shy right up to three months ago, I know how it feels when in company, especially when in front of a person of opposite sex, my tongue used to literally wrap round itself. Then I learned to take advantage of my condition rather than be affected adversely by it. With a few simple suggestions made to me by a successful friend, I was able to overcome my lack in confidence.
Though it may seem hardest, the first suggestion would be to speak up Of course not to utter strangers, but to people already talking to you. You could even practice at home along some of the most common topics under conversation. Some people complain that nothing actually comes to their mind when speaking to strangers; you can effectively overcome the problem with some prior practice.
Even informing the person about your obvious can pose positively in your Performa. Once the person up front knows you are a shy person, they would most definitely either make special adjustments in their speech patterns or recommend too other friends who are either also shy or talkative enough so that you’re being shy is a very temporary condition.
You can even loosen up yourself by chatting online or having a glass or two of wine or something. Remember that no one will come and help you; you would have to help yourself.
The last and most effective resort is also the most obvious, have a glass or too of some wine. It helps a lot in loosening up of shy tongues. So just follow these suggestions and you will be able to reintegrate yourself in life.
