Success depends on action, not procrastination. There are lots of dreamers in the world, but if all you ever do is dream, it’s unlikely you’ll succeed in life.
Becoming a success and realizing your dreams requires hard work – and action. Don’t let fear of failure, or what others might say, keep you from succeeding. Your dreams are important to you, and realizing them is entirely up to you.
Although Thomas Edison is remembered as a great inventor, he failed many times before he succeeded. Abraham Lincoln was one of our most famous Presidents, but he suffered many failures in his life as well. Even Babe Ruth struck out lots of times before he hit all his home runs.
Just like Babe Ruth, we first must step up to the plate if we hope to hit that home run, or even get a base hit.
Pitchers were afraid to let the Babe bat, so they walked him many times – but we’re probably not nearly as talented and our competition is not afraid of us. In order to become successful, we’re going to have to do the work required to get there.
How many times have you heard someone say, “Don’t rush me, I’ll get around to it” (i.e., the “Round Tu-It problem”), when all you ever see them actually do is sit around on the couch, or take long naps, or maybe, if they’re the active type – go off and play a round of golf.
But taking action to realize goals? Oh, no, “I’ll get around to it.Don’t blow your chances at success by loafing around on the coach. Your dreams are important to you, but the only way to realize them and realize success in life that you both want and deserve is to get up off the couch and take some action.
